Calculated, not measured uploads: bytes ≈ bitrate (kb/s) × seconds × 1,000 ÷ 8. MB here means 1,000,000 bytes. Headers, tags and variable bitrate affect actual size. Channels are already included in the total bitrate; do not multiply again.

Concatenation is not mixing
Sequential joining plays the first file, then the second, and so on. Their total duration is approximately the sum of the inputs. Silence at the end of one file and the start of another remains in the result. Remove unwanted pauses beforehand if you need a tighter programme.
Different sources require checking
Inputs may use different codecs or sample rates, so this operation decodes and re-encodes rather than copying compressed files byte for byte. Sources with incompatible channel layouts may need conversion to a consistent layout first. Keep originals if you later need to adjust one segment without another lossy export.
Manage loudness at the joins
An outdoor voice memo may sound quieter than a studio introduction. Joining does not fix that relationship. Compare adjacent clips at the same playback volume and normalize or edit them separately when needed. WAV output prevents a further lossy output codec at this stage, but does not undo losses in MP3 sources.

- No, this tool joins sequentially. A multitrack editor is needed for simultaneous mixing.

- Arrange the files before upload. To change that uploaded sequence, start again with the correct order.

- Source silence is retained, and no crossfade removes it. Trim those edges before merging.
